Actually, hadn't even heard of it. It's exactly the sort of thing I was avoiding when I was reading about trains a couple years ago (I was trying to understand the history with a view to developing my own opinions about what our transportation policy should be), however, the reviews over on Amazon make it sound like a really great book so now I am tempted.
