Altho it also seems like there could easily be other things causing both the high blood pressure and the fluid retention (which may have been included in what you intended to say).
I'm currently leaning towards a slight-anemia theory. I've been having really heavy periods since A. was born (improving, but still bad and I'm chalking it up to perimenopause). When I was anemic after T. was born (much, much, much more severe) it caused high blood pressure spikes.
R. took A. to Whole Foods to get me Floradix since I can't seem to find a closer supplier (despite there being _two_ very close compounding pharmacies. Go figure.).
