If you decide to make an experiment of this, I've got a couple NaNoWriMo novels I periodically contemplate kindle-izing. I'd be more than happy to pay you for 6 hours at $60/hour to kindle-ize one of them, if you want to get paid for part of the time it takes to figure it out. FWIW, both novels are on google docs, but they got imported there from two different sources.
