Yeah, I’ve gotten rid of a lot of stuff lately that does indeed spark joy and also was useful and could have been useful in the future, but in the interest of reducing the overall volume, something had to go and I haven’t regretted any of those choices yet.

Weirdly, just today I used a zester (the Dream Farm one) that was the Sole Survivor of the Great Zester Purge. I don’t think we’d ever used it before moving along all the others, and keeping this one was Correct. It is absolutely amazing, and I never used it while the other ones were there. Now the drawer has much more space, is easier to find things in, closes better. And I’m using the good zester. I don’t know why I am this way. It’s so weird.

Anyone wondering why this zester is better: effortless, the pop clean thing really works, I don’t hurt myself using it or cleaning it by accidentally grating my skin off. It really gets the zest but leaves the white behind. Basically, does all the things you want from a zester and none of the other stuff that you don’t want. I’m looking at the Fluicer as a possible Recluttering choice.
