Friday: holiday cards
Probably will update this later today, since it is a daily activities and it’s not even 10 am yet.
However!
I logged into Snapfish and set up the holiday card. Because I have done this once or twice (ha ha ha) before, I can just reuse some things, like, how many cards and what size, and so forth. I also know to check for the discount codes, which make an enormous difference (75% off! The real price is not the listed price!). And I can always go look at previous orders to figure out what I picked in previous years to look for those now. I _could_ have duplicated last year’s, in fact (I mean, with new photos and text, obviously, but the rest of the design the same), but chose not to. Because we got to do so much travel this year, and because we did family photos back in April with my sister’s family but also some subgroups, I had a lot of options to choose from, which is really nice. As I was collecting all the relevant details from past orders, I noted the dates. First, this year’s order is placed the same date as last year (ha!). And second, while I have done it earlier, I usually do it later.
So I’m feeling very good right at the moment, having engaged in a satisfying aesthetic activity of the recent-life-review sort, and also having gotten a major seasonal item advanced to the next step.
It is particularly nice to feel good having done this, because A. and I will get getting our covid vax this evening, and are thus unlikely to be feeling particularly great for the next day or so thereafter.
