Efteling, swimming, packing up

I went over to the little shop at 8 and bought 4 chocolate croissants, 2 regular croissants and an apple juice. This really ought to get us through the remaining 2 breakfasts. [It did not, because other people decided to have their second pastry too early, but that is not my problem and R. brought home a loaf of suikerbrood so whatever.] I would not have gotten the bread service in time for Friday anyway. I failed to understand the do you want the receipt question. D’oh. So close! I even understood the do you have a bag question. I failed to order bread in time for delivery last night while I was at the park watching Aquanura.

The laundry is finally dry from Tuesday. I guess do not hang laundry to dry when it is raining (I hung it indoors, but there is no ac here so the humidity is the humidity).

A. and I went into the park and rode Droomvlucht, Vogel Rok again and the Pagode. We also saw Fabula. It was very cute. We had appelflappen at Het Witte Paard with hot chocomel for A. and coffee for me and reusable cups and plates for everything. So nice!

We left around 1 and ate lunch in the room. I used the last of the baguette and cheese to make A. a sandwich, and then we ate red currants and blueberries and apple, and I had her leftover chicken sandwich with apple chunks, the weird chips and some mayo. Decent!

We went swimming, and the suits are drying relatively quickly outside because it is warm. Fingers crossed — we leave early tomorrow and I would rather not travel with wet suits. [A.’s was only slightly damp and R. had a gallon ziploc so it worked out.] We got pizzas and chicken nuggets and a salad for R., and lava cakes. I probably did not need to eat more, but I figured out how to order a pizza without cheese so I did. R. finished it. He took most of the recycling out. He also went over to Albert Heijn and bought more beer and dropped off the bag with A.’s dress that she does not wear and the jacket that is too small (Columbia large I can order her the next size up when I get home). That took some pressure off packing up the things my cousin gave us.

I checked into our flights while we were at the park, and I did the mobile customs app (it seems to be different from the last time we did this) as well. I noticed T. never signed his passport so I had him do that, and checked to make sure the rest of us had signed ours already.

I called J. and sang him a belated happy birthday.
