Thursday: enjoying doing as little as possible
I’m feeling a bit better today. R. says I’ve been snoring, and I believe it. Either wood smoke was irritating me or I was fighting something off or both. But today is definitely better — I was never really sick, just sleeping extra and tired.
The Aussie ketchup arrived. I didn’t get the Rosella’s that Soogie on FB got; I ordered Fountain instead. And when it arrived, I was startled to see how short the ingredients list and how _it does not include garlic or onion_. So. There are natural flavors, spices, but if allium is low enough in the mix, R. may be able to have this as a ketchup substitute. I got it to go with the order of pasties and so forth from Aussie Pies and Sausages. I will report back on the pies and sausages as I eat them in coming days (arrived frozen and are still frozen).
I’m trying to get a book date and book picked for November book group, and start the process of planning a few months into the future. Fingers crossed.
It’s insanely warm here — mid 60s, windows open, wearing capris. Most of the leaves are down, making this even more surreal. It was cloudy and foggy for a couple days, but has cleared up today.
I walked with M. and will try to get out for a long walk in a bit. And apparently my holiday cards have arrived. Addressing will not commence today, tho, probably.
