Wednesday: pie!
Soon it will be fall solstice! Or maybe it is now. I’m always a little unclear on that. Anyway. It’s cooler out, and I’m happier.
A. was back in school today. So that’s something.
I made an apple pie with the rest of the apples from the corn and fruit share from a week ago Monday. It’s kinda nice having white flour in the house. Just waiting a few more minutes before I take it out of the oven.
I made pizza again for lunch. It was delicious. I think a third cup of white flour and a generous scoop of sourdough makes a pretty good combo, along with some extra water and a bit of olive oil.
We did some cleaning, and loaded a bunch of the stuff to donate into the van for a run to Savers tomorrow morning.
I had a great convo with J. I walked with M. and had an indoor visit; I had the windows open and I wore a mask. It was also brief.
