Monday: wreath, post office, bank, groceries
Lots of errands today: I drove up to Mayberry to pick up this year’s silent auction wreath. Not quite as good as the upside down elf legs, but a solid entry with a mini holiday sweater, stockings and lights. I put it in the upstairs hall. There are now three indoor wreaths and two outdoor wreaths. I had better stop soon!
I bought a couple Global Forever stamps when I went to the post office to mail the overseas holiday card (not the photo mailer — I did that a while ago). Might reduce the number of post office trips next year. We shall see!
I bought some groceries. Roche Bros was running on generator power. That was weird. I had to get out a flashlight in the produce section to correctly identify cilantro and mint. Everything seemed cold tho. Still no sign of the Sunbasket delivery. I probably should have bought a steak or something. Oh well!
I wiped out the last of the leftovers. The cranberry relish in the fridge is a post T event item, as is the kale. It is looking pretty empty in there.
