Sunday’s Activities Include: Santa’s Village, Applebee’s, Roblox!
We went to Santa’s Village. I don’t think this is the absolute peak for color, but it was awesome driving through the notch. Super pretty, altho not a ton of reds. I think we’ve been through during one year that was better, but this was definitely in the top three. There is a tour group staying at this hotel. Brian Judd Tours, which I’ve never heard of before.
We had dinner at Applebee’s. They managed to screw up nearly everything I ordered. The Manhattan showed up with the twist and without the cherry — but on the rocks. The house salad had cheese on it. The boneless wings were the classic, rather than the Asian sweet chili. I drank the manhattan as it was (which is always a disappointment, but I wind up less dehydrated because I’m feral and I eat ice), but had to send the other two back. Fortunately, the kitchen was moving at a good pace. No one else was getting wrong orders — it was just me. Oh well!
R. got a short bike ride between Santa’s Village and Applebee’s. T. and I had a long talk, which was somewhat stressful for both of us. At dinner, however, he set up a Roblox account and started getting A. to teach him how to play. They spent a ton of time laughing and having a good time. That was a lot of fun to watch.
